JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is developing an optical sensor suite for an airborne platform, including real-time image processing and data recording.
We require three engineers to develop real-time data acquisition, image processing, and recorder software that adheres to open architecture standards. The software components will be integrated into an extensible open architecture system. Development will include the use of middleware libraries such as VSIPL/VSIPL++. The program will include the fabrication of a prototype system.
Special Talents:
* MS in computer science or related field, or a BS with equivalent experience
* Real-time C++ development in a UNIX-based environment * Fluency of Matlab development in UNIX-based environment * Experience with linear algebra.
The ideal candidate would also have experience with real-time, high-bandwidth sensor data recording systems. Experience programming multi-processor / multi-core systems is also a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client has an immediate need for a System Administrator to provide dedicated support to two programs. One program is developing a high-throughput networked software system for processing of space data. This program requires support to automatically deploy and configure system components, monitor system processing and administer one or more large Linux clusters. The second program is developing and delivering sensor "sidecars." This program also requires administration support of set-up, configuration, shipping and installation, as well as monitoring and administering multiple sidecars at remote locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Automation of deployment and configuration of systems, including building cluster nodes and sidecars to common baselines and installing specific software components.
*Identify, install and operate system monitoring tools.
*Assist security personnel in system accreditation.
*Document process and procedures for external distribution.
*Build, deploy tune, and implement patches and fixes for Red Hat Linux systems.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
*BS or MS in Computer Science or similar.
*5+ years System Administrator experience
REQUIRED ABILITIES
*Must be team oriented and must be able to work independently and with team members.
*Must have good communication and problem solving skills.
*OS experience: Linux, Solaris, Cisco IOS.
*Linux cluster experience, including machine image creation.
*Strength in shell programming and/or other scripting languages, such as: Perl, Python, lex, yacc, csh, sh Bash, etc.
*Source code control and management experience such as: CVS, subversion, git bzr, trac, maven, bugzilla and RPM repository management.
*Deployment tool experience such as: Puppet, CFEngine, Chef, etc.
Monitoring tool experience such as: Zenoss, Open NMS, Nagios, HypericHQ, SolarWinds, etc.
*Protocol and service experience such as: HTTP, NFS, DNS, NIS+, RAID, DHCP, NTP, VPN, etc.
*Previous use of virtual machines and virtual machine monitoring.
*Network/firewall configuration and load balancing: Juniper, Cisco, Checkpoint, IP Filter.
*Familiarity with PXEBoot, SANS and NAS.
PLUSES
*Programming language experience: C/C++, Java, SQL95.
*Experience creating RPMs.
MISCELLANEOUS
*Active security clearance required,
*Familiarity with DIACAP and/or NISPOM including Linux hardening, DISA SRR, CLIP.
