Position: Whole Loan Evaluator

Location: NYC

Salary: DOE

 

 

The primary responsibility of this position will be to proactively manage evaluations, models, client challenges and relationships within the Structured Securities Group. The whole loan evaluator must possess the skills necessary to quickly identify changes in the market, and have the ability to apply this information to all appropriate market sectors.   Responsibilities:   Processing the daily evaluation file, reviewing and monitoring daily tolerance reports. Understanding the deal structure, collateral and must possess the knowledge to stress deals by generating scenarios to perform a multi-path cash flow analysis of the securities. Responding timely to customer inquiries concerning our pricing of whole loan securities. Monitoring news and market conditions and obtaining market information from existing and acquired contacts. Keeping pace with new market conventions. Maintaining a well organized and clearly documented overview of the evaluation process in accordance with the policies and procedures utilized within the Structured Securities Groups.

Required Experience:   A minimum of three years experience in fixed income markets, with a focus on whole loans. Experience with modeling techniques. Ability to facilitate superior market participant relationships. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of IntexNet/Intex Desktop. Independent self starter, able to sustain productivity. Team player with the willingness to take direction from management. Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload. Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives. Proficiency in Windows, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, SQL
