Order Set Clinical Analyst–– estimated 6 month engagement - MN
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
The Order set Clinical Analyst will serve as system wide consultant providing analysis and coordination support in the development of standardized evidence-based physician order sets in keeping with accreditation and charge capture requirements, leads efforts within a variety of clinical services and settings to support standardization of physician order sets across like populations, diseases, and procedures.
· As an Order Set Clinical Analyst leads the effort across the Client’s sites towards standardization of evidence based order sets in its clinical services in keeping with charge capture requirements and accreditation.
· Provides primary support to the continued enhancement, optimization, and implementation of order set process during Epic implementation.
· Serves as key support to System wide evidence based order sets development, configuration and implementation for like populations, disease states, and/or procedures.
· Ability to work independently,

· strong attention to detail and documentation,
· word processing and formatting skills,
· ability to work with a variety of providers and clinical staff,
· experience in presenting information to groups,
· willing to follow a complex process for order set development/modification including electronic processes
Required:
· 1 year experience with Epic clinical information system, preferably Orders (certification is NOT required)
· 3 years experience in health care environment plus experience with a variety of automation tools
